Foundations

Going back to the basics, you will learn how to properly perform the most important movement patterns. Working closely with the trainer, you will develop proper technique for the fundamental movement patterns such as squats, deadlifts, and rows. With the use of APT straps, chairs, and body weight, you will develop the muscle strength, balance, coordination, and muscle endurance to perform the movements safely and efficiently. These sessions are great for anyone to learn how to move properly and pain free.

Beginner

Safely developing proper movement patterns will be the focus in these sessions. The exercises will engage the whole body as well as provide a bit of cardio in the 30 minute sessions. The goal is to develop your balance, coordination, and strength while providing movement education in an engaging and fun environment. You will develop your skills, movements, and confidence while working closely with the trainer. This is a great session for anyone at any age to get started.

Intermediate

These sessions focus on functional training using a variety of equipment and exercises. By using dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, medicine balls, and body weight, you will have a training session that helps build strength. Sessions will also focus on improving balance, posture, flexibility, coordination, and core strength. There will be brief bursts of cardio to get your heart rate up. You will leave feeling great and closer to your goals.

Advanced

These 30 minute sessions will provide you with a fast-paced full body workout and will involve more complex movements. Exercises will incorporate a variety of equipment to continue to develop strength, power, and flexibility. The fast paced environment will also provide a cardiovascular workout. These sessions are a great way to get a more demanding full body workout in 30 minutes.

Anchor Point Strap Small Group Training (APT)

Workouts using the APT Vector Straps will have you using your body in a full range of motion to improve overall strength and mobility while increasing muscle endurance. You will find our approach to using the straps a sustainable and progressive way to keep your body strong and functional. The use of the straps will also help to develop proper form and technique. You will increase your heart rate by incorporating bursts of cardio while you work out on the straps.

Anchor Point Small Group Training (APT)

Kettlebell

If you enjoy using kettlebells, these intermediate to advanced sessions will be great for you! The kettlebell specific exercises will give you a full body workout while working on muscle strength, core strength, coordination, and cardio. Our Agatsu Kettlebell certified trainers will use their knowledge and experience to teach technique while delivering a full body workout. If you want to continue to develop your skills with the kettlebell or try something new, give these sessions a try!

H.I.I.T. (High Intensity Interval Training)

Using more basic movements, you will work through intervals to increase your heart rate. The simple full body exercises will allow you to work out at a faster pace which will help to build your cardiovascular endurance. High Intensity Interval Training can sound scary but this session is for everyone at all levels. These sessions are great for heart health, reducing cardiovascular disease, and a multitude of other great benefits. Thirty minutes of HIIT will leave you feeling accomplished!

Advanced Boot Camp

These sessions have more clients, with a cap of 10 participants, and are 45 minutes long. Experienced exercisers will love the variety and the challenge of this fast-paced workout where you will work on all aspects of your fitness, including muscle strength and endurance, coordination, core strength, and dynamic stability. The more advanced exercises in this session will give a full body workout while continuing to test and develop your basic movement patterns. Best of all, you’ll find this tough workout FUN!

Mobility

These sessions will help to loosen up tight muscles, increase your flexibility, and give you a greater range of motion. Using light weights, APT bands and straps, blocks, or body weight, the trainer will guide you through a variety of exercises. With a slower pace and a greater focus on breathing, you will be able to ask questions and work with the trainer to make sure you can get into a position that works best for you. These sessions allow up to 8 participants and run 30 minutes in length. You can pair this class with another small group training session or high intensity interval session to make sure you continue to stay flexible, limber, and feeling your best.


Other sessions/courses

Throughout the year, we offer Yin yoga, independent workshops on MELT (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique), and nutrition. These courses are provided at an additional cost as they are separate from our regular small group training (although some are FREE) and are available with or without a studio membership. Yoga

A mixture of flowing movements, standing postures, and longer held stretches. Each class is designed teach the basic poses and to introduce some meditation and breathing exercises. All levels of fitness welcome and no previous yoga experience necessary. Yoga improves balance, flexibility, and core strength, and helps promote relaxation. Yoga classes are provided at an additional cost as they are separate from our regular small group training and are available with or without a studio membership

MELT (Myofascial Energetic Length Technique)

MELT helps to alleviate chronic pain by rehydrating connective tissues and relieving long-held tension in the body. The techniques are easy to learn, and results can be felt after the very first time you try it! Changes in alignment, flexibility, energy, mood, and performance occur within only a few sessions. Take charge of your health and become your own "Hands-Off Bodyworker" with the methods learned in Lisa's MELT workshops.
